Take the desired amount of HENNAHUB Natural Aritha Powder in a bowl. The amount depends on your hair length and thickness. Generally, 2-4 tablespoons should be enough for medium-length hair. Gradually add water to the powder while stirring continuously to form a smooth paste. The consistency should be like a thick pancake batter. You can mix Aritha powder with other hair-beneficial powders like Amla or Shikakai for added nourishment and cleansing. A few drops of essential oils such as tea tree or peppermint can help soothe the scalp and add fragrance. Part your hair into sections for easy application. Apply the paste to your scalp and hair, starting from the roots and working your way to the ends. Make sure your hair is evenly coated with the mixture. Gently massage your scalp for 5-10 minutes to stimulate the scalp and allow the natural saponins (soap-like substances) in the Aritha powder to cleanse effectively. Let the paste sit on your hair for about 15-20 minutes. Do not let it dry completely, as it can be challenging to rinse out. Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. Make sure all the paste is removed from your hair. You may need to rinse a few times to ensure no residue is left. There's usually no need to use shampoo afterward since Aritha acts as a natural cleanser. However, if you feel your hair is still oily or not clean, you can use a mild shampoo.
